If your not filling your taxes with an accountant, I highly recommend Quick Tax or Turbo Tax.  Both are essentially the same with Quick Tax servicing our neighbours to the north and Turbo Tax for United States residents.  Both Quick Tax and Turbo Tax are owned by Intuit.  Both are also probably the best selling tax software packages around.  There is a reason for that.  Both are easy to use and maximize your return. Both packages ensure 100% accuracy and range from FREE  to $129.  If your a student you can file for free and if your taxes are simple you can get your taxes done for as little as $20, including e-filling.  The process that guides you through your tax return is idiot proof.  Some of the higher versions like the platinum  includes multiple returns and free phone support.  They also have a 60-day money-back guarantee  and the Maximum Refund Guarantee.  If your filling taxes for your entire family I highly recommend a package that includes multiple returns and like the platinum that includes 8 returns.  If you use all eight tax returns it will cost you less then $10 per tax return.  If you have used a different package in the past, don’t worry, both QuickTax and TurboTax will allow you to import your data.  This makes it easy and saves a lot of time for subsequent years.

Tax filling deadline is fast approaching for Canadians.  No need to panic just get online, e-file and get it done.  Theres several companies that you can go with or you can go pick up the tax software package at your local Staples store.  Online offerings are fantastic, easy and cheaper!!!  Both QuickTax and Turbo Tax are great options.   QuickTax and Turbo Tax offer quick e-file and returns within 9 days, both QuickTax and Turbo Tax offer Free editions for individuals with simple taxes, and both QuickTax and Turbo Tax let you prepare your taxes for free prior to paying.  I actually used both packages and ended up choosing with Turbo Tax.  It provided me with a greater tax return amount even with the slightly higher cost of Turbo Tax.   They both claim that they are the number one Tax software, so take your pick.  Check out QuickTax products here,  and/or  Turbo Tax here.
