The Gopro 3D Kit looks like it is set to launch next month.  The Gopro 3D Kit will include 3D Hero Case and the link cable to join your two Gopro HD Cameras.  The price will be $99 for the kit.  You will of course be required to get a second Gopro HD Camera that will cost you $259.  The cable link between two cameras will take care of video syncing and it will be one touch for the user with everything else automatic where the one camera will control the second to produce true 3D video.  It’s going to be amazing.

Both the Gopro SD Hero and Gopro HD Hero 960 are excellent cameras and shoot great.  I gave a few away for the holidays, but it appears that the more you use the Gopro the more you love it.  Then you run into the problem of the gopro expansion port.  You have to have an Gopro HD Camerato use the expansion items that are about to launch like the batter pak, Gopro LCD, and the cool Gopro 3D expansion kit being previewed at the CES show.  If your budget allows you to get the Gopro HD camera.  As time goes on you will probably regret it.

My Gopro HD Camera sometimes fogs up by the time I make it to the bottom of the hill while snowboarding.  While searching for Gopro Coupons for a deal on second Gopro Camera, I discovered that Gopro sells an gopro anti-fog strip solution.  They cost only $14.99 for three strips and they are reusable.  They last for 4 or 5 uses and then you just pop them in the oven and reuse them.  They work great.  I have not tried recharging the gopro anti-fog strips in the oven yet, but the new ones work.  The cost is only $14.99.  The reason I’m looking for a second Gopro Camera is to be able to shoot in 3D with the Gopro 3D expansion kit that should be launching soon.  I can’t wait to shoot in real Gopro 3D!!!

Just saw some reviews on en-gadget for Gopro 3D expansion kit and the Gopro  LCD Screen.  They are not yet live on the gopro website, but they should be available very soon.  Just remember if you have the Gopro HD Hero 960 or are buying a Gopro Camera the Gopro HD Hero 960 does not support the expansion Gopro accessories.  The LCD screen is going to be amazing.  The 3D expansion kit will also be amazing to shoot in real 3D, but it will require a second Gopro HD Hero Camera.

The Gopro HD Hero 960 video quality is very close to Gopro HD Helmet Hero.  I just had a chance to compare the Gopro HD Hero 960 video from a gift I gave a friend compared to the video off my Gopro HD Helmet Hero.   It’s pretty close in my opinion and in most situations you won’t notice the difference.  Both are fantastic cameras and are have the identical footprints.  The major difference is that the HD Hero 960 does not come with the Gopro expansion port and of course the cost.  The expansion port is definitely a plus for extra battery Gopro Battery pack and the coming Gopro LCD expansion.
