The Gopro HD Helmet Hero shoots awesome, but so does the Gopro HD Hero 960.  I expect based on feedback that I have received from people that this is going to be a hot gift for the holidays.  The hardest question I get is, will they like the Gopro HD 960 and is the quality good enough.  The quality on the Gopro 960 is more then good enough.  It’s almost HD shooting at 960p and I assure you that who ever your giving it to or keeping it for yourself that they or you will love it.  I do recommend the full HD Gopro, only because of the expansion capabilities such as extra battery, possible 3D expansion kit, and the LCD screen, however the truth is that most peope can live without them and may not buy them anyways.  I think this is particulary true for the Gopro 3D since it requires a second camera.  Its a tough decision because the Gopro 960 is almost half the cost as its big brother.  I am planning on giving a few away and yes they will be the Gopro 960 due to cost.  They are going to be gifts so too bad, I can think many worse gifts.  I can almost guarantee they will love the Gopro 960.
