You can pre-order your 2011 silver American eagle coins at APMEX.  They are set to ship out Jan 21 this year.  I think demand will be high this year, since the price of silver is so high and most likely to rise.  Every year is different but demand for silver American eagles are always high.  The American Eagle is a great coin and highly collectible.  In 2010 the U.S. Mint had problems securing silver blanks and had to halt production.  Even if your not a coin collector and prefer silver bullion as an investment, you can’t go wrong by adding a few 1 oz silver American Eagles.  I usually buy a monster box every year and send a few for certification to NGC.  I end up selling quite a few every year from previous years on ebay for very decent profit.
