Ultimate Ride Video with GoPro HD Cameras

Everyone has a digital camera these days, heck I had 2. The both took decent pictures and video, the problem is that you never have them on you when you need them, because you never know before hand when you are going to have that ultimate ride, pull off that killer move or have that happy accident that makes your sport the thing you live for.
The last thing you want to worry about is loosing or damaging your equipment. Not having to worry about your camera being secured properly because you had to come up with your own quick fix solution to attach it to your gear, allows you to be able to focus 100% on your technique, and be assured that everything is being captured.
Then I heard about GoPro while watching Nascar on TV – the announcers were raving about the drivers using these cameras during the race.  I checked out the GoPro website and thought – the digital HD camera is cool, and the video looks good, but it’s the fact that professional attachments are available to mount this camera to your helmet, bike, board, jacket, car – just about any sport equipment, and that it is designed to be water and shock proof was what sold me.
I have had mine for 2 weeks now and can honestly say that the picture quality is amazing and you can attach this camera securely to just about anything.  I think it’s a steal for 300 bucks and unlike some other so called “prosumer” HD video cameras that that cost over a grand, I’m not afraid to strap this on and actually us it (without needing someone else there to shoot me during my ride).
You are only truly able to capture the thrill of you sport on video if the camera is shooting from your perspective during the ride.
