Brewing your own beer is fun and there’s nothing more rewarding then drinking your own beer.  Its actually quite good and a lot cheaper then the beer store.  You can get a beer brewing kit from Mr. Beer that start at 39.99.  The Beer kit includes everything you’ll need to brew your own beer, including a 2 gallon brew keg fermentor, brew pack and 8 plastic one litre bottles.  I was a little confused at first because a case of beer is about 2 gallons and cost less then $39.99, but once you have the kit, the refill brew packs start at $12.95 for 2 gallons of beer.  Mr. Beer offers over 20 types of beer that you can brew, which is pretty cool.  If you enjoy beer its a lot of fun to brew your own beer for your home bar and its cheaper.  If your really into beer, you should also take a look at Kegworks.  I’m pretty sure my father will be receiving a Fathers Day gift from Kegworks.  Kegworks sells bar accessories, bar furnishings, and draft beer equipment.  They also sell the Mr. Beer home brew kit, but its more expensive, so buy it direct from Mr.Beer.  Happy Drinking, and drink responsibly.

Shoeboxed Receipts is the biggest time saver I have ever used.  Its great for small businesses and business travelers.  I the cheapest and most useful services I have ever used. Shoeboxed scans in your receipts and business cards, making them available to you online.  You simply send in your receipts and business cards and then scan them in for you.  Once they are scanned in you can access them online.  Never lose a receipt again, never have a receipt fade so much that you can’t read it when it comes to the end of the year,  and you will always have a digital copy.  Its IRS accepted, and you can send your receipts to Quickbooks, Excel, PDF, Quicken, Freshbooks, Outright.com and Evernote.   The business cards can be sent to your contact manager such as Outlook.  Really have to think about this service.  I save so much time not having to go through my receipts and I never lose any, I just mail them in once a month.  When its tax time I send the file to my accountant.  My contact Manager is organized!!  If you think its cheaper to do it yourself, your wrong.  I’ve been trying for years.  I have a Cardscan Scanner and a receipt scanner.  Total cost for equipment alone was probably around $400 bucks.
