A New Year’s Resolution to improve your health is going to fail if you don’t have a plan

It’s the beginning of another year and you can practically hear the collective sound of people’s resolutions vowing to get their bodies in shape. Such commitment, such intention, such dedication! Unfortunately words are just that…. Words.

The fact of the matter is that 90% of people fail in the execution of their New Years Resolutions. The unfortunate thing is that many people’s resolutions are related to health. When we are talking about our health such as quitting smoking, drinking, fast food or starting to exercise and eat well, 90% failure is very serious. So why do people fail?

When it comes to achieving goals and success, words are not enough.
Saying you are “going to do something” is about as concrete as a Jell-O foundation.
In order to get the results you are looking for you need to create an action plan, a timeline and realistic measurable goals that you stick to and follow. Only then, will you succeed in achieving your goals and resolutions.

In order to create a health and exercise plan and to set measurable goals you need proper information. Lets face it, not everybody can afford a personal trainer for $80 an hour. As an alternative, I found a site called bodybuilding.com This website is one of the largest resource websites for bodybuilding and exercise on the Internet. There are over 25,000 pages of bodybuilding and nutritional information including workout and diet plans and 1000’s of videos for free. The site has amazing supplement deals on over 8,500 products and massive support and information through their web forum, which has over a million members. You can also become a member for free by joining BodySpace. Set up a profile, track your progress and start a BodyBlog if you like. BodyBuilding.com is an incredible resource to help you set up a realistic exercise and health plan, obtain support and answers to questions and purchase important supplements for great deals.

Don’t be part of the 90% who fail to execute their New Year’s health Resolutions.
Do the research, create a plan, set realistic measurable goals and follow through!
